I met a good friend online yesterday who is currently working in Taipei. We spent nearly 1 hour talking about cameras, the never ending arguement between Canon and Nikon, photography, etc etc. Everything about photography. The passion we both share.
I hopped over to his collection for a quick browse and found myself in love of what Picasa can do. It is fast and has more spaces to store your pictures. It requires you to install its software to enable the uploading. Oh! I love its software because it allows you to do minimal editing such as color, shadow, lights, special effects like sharpen and glow. So I thought it would be a lovely place to keep my so called "masterpieces". Then last night I spent hours digging and selecting my photo albums archive. Editing is of course an important procedure.
So here it is. My Picasaweb. Happy viewing!

Hello again!

I am back again from KK. It was a 3 days 2 nights short trip but long enough to restore my soul. Unfortunately I'm physically exhausted and disorganized. The good news is I have taken some great pictures and bought myself some goodies. But allow me to take my time to unpack everything and get them organized. I will post more pictures to retell the story soon.
Again, good to be back and great to see you here again! =)

Good morning, Honey!

Started my day with a cup of honey. Tasty and soothing as my throat was so sore early morning. It would definitely taste better with lime juice.
Today I found something interesting yet inspiring. It's called Everyday in May. It doesn't have to be May, it can be any month if you like. But it's the idea that really interest me. The idea of Everyday in May is that you draw/write something everyday whether it's about the weather, your mood, things that you do, things that delight you. Anything at all. I think it is a good way to count your days and live at its fullest. It's like you're walking on the sand and leaving footprints behind. Leonie has done a good job on this. I adore her water color paintings that were tagged along with the stories.
Check out some of her drawings at Day 4, 5, 6, 7.

Surf in Flickr
As I dive into the world of Flickr again, I found a lot of amazingly breath taking pictures. Flickr definitely is a place of wonder. There're so many professionals, hobbyists, and beautiful master pieces. They make the world so wonderful and magical with just a snapping tool. Part of the reasons I keep coming back for more. To enjoy the visual satisfaction.*grin*. Seen here is one of my favourites taken in Sydney:-
Yes. There's someone particularly talented to my liking. To me, she's an amazing mom with a beautiful daughter. She never fails to inspire. She's Kiwi_GaL. I adore her work as much as I adore Jenny Sun's. To view more of her beautiful works, you have to hop over to her flickr collections.
How I wish I can hold my own DSLR camera and inspire people just like them. Anyway, I will try my very best when I own one myself in future ;)

Gadget for fun
Today as I read Evangelione's blog, I found something interesting. The new-to-me Google Translate. I intended to give it a try to experiment the accuracy of the translation. Since her blog is a chinese written blog, so I tried to translate her blog from chinese to english. Haha, well, at least the result is not that disappointing. I noticed that 80-90% of the message is delivered. Not sure of the other languages, at least this is quite impressive already.
Hence, I decided to add one myself here. Have fun and try it out :P
Ok, the tryout for my own blog, it is hilarious!!! The translation does crack me up a little bit. It looks like a mess to me. Haha.

Back and alive!
Still here, somewhere in the corner of the earth. I just checked back my last entry and surprised to realize that it has been 2 months!! Life has been busy and I come to a point and ask myself "What have I done over the 5 months because nearly half of the year has gone just like that!". Snap!
The best thing so far is I've finished reading Twilight and New Moon. It was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! One of the best stories I recon. The simple storyline brought my mood up and down like a roller coaster. Thrills, sadness and joy! The composition of everything. Leonie, you're right! Once you start reading it, there's no stopping at all! Haha. Well, 2 more books to go - Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Giving myself another reason to be away again this month end. Haha, I guess I am really good at that.
Anyway, glad to find myself here once again because evangelione is doing a dollhouse miniature! She's so cool and so detailed. She has a gift and small tiny hands to create all these. Check out her work at here. Impressive!

Pssttt...
I'm gonna be away...again for another week. Leaving tomorrow. In this trip, I am going to meet up Carol, Sheila and more friends.
You may notice that I did not get to blog this week as I have been working madly to clear my job list before leaving. I hope I will not get fried and served on the table when I return. Haha.

This Year Reading
This year I set myself a goal so I will start picking up books and READ. Reading can be difficult for me if the book does not interest me much in the first few pages. My first book took me nearly 2 years to finish. However, I still want to read and the task of selecting the right reading material that will keep me continue has become quite challenging.
During my transit at Hong Kong Airport, I found a bookstore named Relay where it has few shops within the airport itself. It was a lot of struggle at the beginning. Browsing through the racks not knowing what book to buy. Worrying that I might end up buying a very boring and confusing book at the same time. Suddenly, a book caught my eyes. It was Twilight. The movie Mr. P and I last watched together on a special date. It was my recent obsession. An idea popped in my mind suggesting that I should read the novel version to find out more actual details of the story. When this idea overtook my mind, I decided to buy this set of 4 books for myself to read this year. The price was slightly more expensive yet affordable. So I bought the first book - Twilight at the Relay bookstore. Second - New Moon at Times bookstore, Warisan Square, Kota Kinabalu.
Here is my collection (2 at the moment, 2 more to come - Eclipse and Breaking Dawn)

A short visit
It always feels great when you are staying somewhere where you feel so isolated and most of your buddies are everywhere but here ; yet someone is coming to pay you a short visit. In a way it makes you feel that someone still remembers you and cares to travel all the way just to meet you. Priceless.
So thank you, mel, for coming here by Fokker when you thought you would crash landing *wink*. Appreciated =) Hope to see you soon in near future.
